ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Paintings were purchased on eBay and three were distributed to each of the 26 participating artists. Each artist was asked to modify the eBay paintings. The entire process was documented, including all the eBay sales information and payment instructions. The sales documents, a print of the original piece, and the finished art formed the basis of the exhibition, presented by WORKS/San Jose in July, 2005.
